street outreach

meeting people where they are

Our Street Outreach team connects with people in the community; on the street, in parks, and in other public spaces, offering practical support, harm reduction supplies, and human connection. We meet people where they are, without judgment, and without expectations.

What is Street Outreach?

Street Outreach is about building relationships and supporting people in real time, in the environments where they already are. For many, outreach is the first point of connection to services. For some, it may be the only support they receive that day.

what our teams do

Outreach workers engage people in respectful, low-barrier ways:

  • Start conversations and build trust over time
  • Provide harm reduction supplies and education
  • Share information to support safer use practices
  • Respond to immediate needs when possible
  • Offer referrals to health and social services

Every interaction is guided by compassion, respect, and a commitment to meeting people where they are at.

what's in the bag?

Our outreach teams bring essential supplies directly into the community, including:

  • Harm reduction supplies
  • Safer use equipment
  • Naloxone kits
  • Basic care items
  • Snacks & water

These supplies help reduce risk, prevent overdose, and support overall wellbeing.

why it matters

Street Outreach helps reduce harm before it happens. By building trust and showing up consistently, outreach workers create opportunities for connection, support, and care—on each person’s own terms.
