avenue b is going mobile!
Avenue B is moving! We will be providing our usual day-to-day services through a mobile service model until we move into our new location.
To make getting trained and accessing naloxone as convenient as possible, we’re offering online naloxone training!
getting your naloxone kit is easy
1. Watch the training videos
Watch the two videos below in their entirety. The videos will provide you with the information you need to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and administer naloxone.
2. Email us
Once you’ve completed both videos, email our Program Manager, Lesley Duguay, at lesley.duguay@avenueb.ca.
Please use “Naloxone Kit” as the subject line. If you have any questions about the videos, or what you’ve learned, you can include them in your email, and Lesley will get back to you.
3. Arrange delivery of your naloxone kit
Lesley will connect with you to arrange delivery of a naloxone kit after you’ve completed the training.
That’s it! You can complete the training online and have a naloxone kit delivered to you, without needing to access our mobile services.
